Clubland is an independent, long-term photographic study of Australian club life.
The project looks beyond what clubs do to the worlds they create: the people, places, rituals, traditions and everyday activities that give each club its character and sense of community.
The work is made through respectful, low-key documentary photography of real people, places and activity.
There is no charge to participating clubs.
The project is independent and not commissioned by a government agency, media organisation or commercial sponsor.
Clubs interested in participating or learning more about the project are invited to get in touch with Jeff Gardner.
